How many computers do you have in your house?

One. Unless my kitty has a secret laptop stashed away.
What are 5 things you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
Maybe it's because it's early in the morning and I'm not feeling well, but I can't think of anything.
My first three patients were already cranky for no good reason, which explains my crappy mood. I've come up with a new plan on how to deal with bitchy comments or whining. I don't respond. I just look at them silently. It's working out ok for me. I think it makes them feel uncomfortable. And that's the point.
Accomplish? Jesus. I really don't know. I guess I could be less stubborn or mean? Or actually save some money? I get into a minor tiff every single time I go to the bank. I'm pretty sure they make comission on opening up savings accounts. Without fail, every time, the teller tries to tell me that I can get free checking.
Them: "I see you are currently paying for your checking account. Did you know.."
Me: "No, thank you. I don't need a savings account."
Them: "Well there's only a $25 minimum and..."
Me: "No. I already had a Wells Fargo savings account and I cancelled it."
Them: "But.."
Me: "NO! GO CHOKE ON DICKS AND LEARN TO DIE! TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST!"
Uhm yeah so...
1. Save
2. Never open a savings account at Wells Fargo
3. Stop talking
4. That's it.
What's the most memorable building you've lived in?

I lived on a converted Coast Guard boat until I was 5. It was docked at a harbor at Oyser Point in South San Francisco. On weekends, we could untie or unachor or whatever and cruise around the bay. We had an engine room next to my bedroom (aka "stateroom").
Once my little brother got mad at me and threw all my coloring books and stuffed animals off the side of the boat. My older brother had to jump in the bay, jeans and all, to rescue them and stop my screaming fit.
My brother and I had to wear life vests a lot. My mom told a story once that while she was cleaning, I fell off the boat and into the water. My vest kept me afloat and she was alerted by a circling helicopter above me. I was just bobbing along. Didn't seem to mind.
Another time, my sister was carrying my baby brother down the steps to the dock and she dropped him. He fell, plop, right into the water! She pulled him out basically by his hair.
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?

LOST!
Like there's anything else *to* watch. What's going to happen to Jack, Sawyer, And Kate? Last time we saw them, they were bound and blindfolded on a dock with The Others. Michael and Walt escaped off the island. Can Sayid save them? OH MY GOD I THINK IT STARTS THIS WEEK.
Oh yeah, and the Office.
September is a busy month. I'm just going to get it all out right here to clear my mind of the clutter.
This weekend we saw A Tribe Called Quest. We liked it. I took shaky videos of the group freestyling from the back row.
This Thursday, Motley is putting on a local independent film fest. Miss Moxxxie's art will also be featured. Check it out.
The Thursday AFTER that (the 21st), Motley is also kicking off Hesher II. Some of you may remember the first Hesher. Hair metal karaoke! How much fun is that? A lot. Check that out too. And come in costume. Even though I won't.
Also, don't you DARE forget to come to September 30th Final Smackdown! I am fittin' to do some damage! Check out

What's your middle name? Is there a story or history behind it?
My middle name is Leigh (pronounced like "Lee" I don't know why so many people fuck that up). There is no story behind it.
My sister Sophia Michelle was named after our grandmother (Sophia) and our deceased uncle (Michael). My brother Antone Rene was named after our grandfather (Antone) and our deceased aunt (Irene). Veronica Leigh? Got nothin'.
My mom said Veronica was her confirmation name. And apparently my dad had a thing for Veronica Lake. I have no idea where Leigh came from.
My dad wanted to name me Alexis but my mom vetoed it because she said "Alexis La Rosa" sounded like a disease.
I'm going to insert some funny pictures of my parents from around my birth year.
What was the last game you played?
I played three twenty minutes periods on Saturday against Seattle, Minnesota, and Carolina. The tournament was in Seattle, WA in the Key Arena and attracted more than 4,000 fans. Sadly, my team lost all three games. We were the way-way-way-underdog team in the tournament. We went in being ranked #7 out of 8 and we came out as #7 out of 8. So, it wasn't too big of a deal that we lost. It didn't hurt our standings.
I've included a picture of me essentially running away from Seattle's Burnett Down. I was so worn down by that point that I actually have my hand up as if to say "Please don't."
Since I bought my car, I've been making mix CD's to keep me entertained on the road. I've found that my favorite songs this week are all songs that are atleast a few years old and they're all songs I didn't notice before.
I've never claimed to have an eclectic, original taste for music. I'm kind of generic. But I'm ok with that :)
Top 5:
1. "Forgive Them Father" - Lauryn Hill - So many good lines. I'm going to talk about this later.
2. "Interstate Love Song" - Stone Temple Pilots - I still don't know what he is talking about. He mumbles.
3. "The Wreckoning" - Latyrx - This song is really a Lateef solo. I like hearing the big breaths he takes in.
4. "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" - Lauryn Hill - Love the original, love the cover. Such a sweet song.
5. "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing" - Jack Johnson - I dno't want to like J.J. But I do. I do.
So, the first song, "Forgive Them Father" always makes me start thinking about God. I don't consider myself particularly religious. I wear a St. Christopher's medal around my neck but I think of it more as a good luck charm. I don't pray, I don't got to church, I don't necessarily think there is a God. I don't know. But there's this line in that song I love. "A friend once said to me, and I found to be true: That everyday people, they lie to God too. So what makes you think that they won't lie to you?" That's an interesting, cynical thought. I'm pretty gullible and usually believe anything I'm told. At a party last weekend a drunk guy with a mohawk told me he worked for "Porpoises with a Purpose" which was an organization that allows mentally retarded kids to swim with dolphins. I believed him for the whole conversation until our frind started laughing.
Anyways, it's a strange feeling for me to remember that there are people who lie without any concern for feelings or even a higher power.
I also really like the lyric "Like Cain and Abel, Caesar and Brutus, Jesus and Judas,
Backstabbers do this."
Remember sniglets? Do you have any favorites? Have you ever made up your own word? (Now's as good a time as any.)
No.
